Even though i said i didn't want to go back home for vacation.
This time home was a little shorter than before, and as mentioned before, i didn't have much time to play around because i have tons of vacation homework to do, and i planned to complete my Japan geography scrapbook but i couldn't even get it half done.
There was so much errands to do, some settlement with the bank, clearing the junks at home, and idk what. maybe TV was the biggest distraction at home, i couldn't even complete my homework, maybe only half done.
Plus, the last 5 days in Singapore, i was bringing dani around, so yeah, busy busy and busy.
was with my favourite girls, Carine and Valerie (:
First time visiting Henderson Wave, we walked for about 2km to reach there, hot and tired. lol.
nice place, in the nature, sit down and relax.
doing nothing with the right people makes those time worthwhile.
How fast yeah? i would want to share a picture of us 10 years ago but i don't have it :/
The next day, i had tea break with Zhihao, that one of the ones i miss.
and then went to pick dani up from the airport.
Coz i had some errands to do, like renewing my passport.
Need to thank her really. well, they are getting along really well too.
Can you believe this? They were actually using their 三脚猫 spanish with each other.
and of course, i don't understand a word lol. but i bet it's some damn simple basic vocab haha.
We met at Botanic Garden (it actually has changed a lot, so nice it's worth being a tourist spot haha)
but the park is really huge ya, so we didn't complete it, kinda tired too.
Next Destination: Esplanade >>>>> Merlion Park >>>>> Helix Bridge >>>>> Marina Bay Sands
Adventure cove and the Aquarium, claim to be the World's Largest Oceanarium, duno if it's true haha.
Anyway the adventure cove was really funnn! it's like water amusement park and my favourite was the snorkelling experience. Of course, the real thing in the sea would be much cooler but this isn't disappointing either, the capacity was much bigger than i thought.
The slide thingy was fun too but too short. overall, was fun so you should go too!
can really feel relax watching the sea creatures in the giant tank.
I like jelly fish especially! i want to keep few if i can but it's not on sale yeah? 残念。
One thing i wish they would add in is performances like of sea lion or dolphin or something, like the one i saw at Fukuoka. That would be really fun to watch, but they don't have it here in Singapore, nor here in Osaka.
just nice for sunset but cannot see the sun lol.
Dinner meeting with the sotongs at Vivocity, the porridge steamboat! yummmmmm~ nomnomnom
was so tired my back was aching ): my 留学生friends in Japan don't call me obaa chan for no reason.
The space beside dani was meant for yoshi, wish he had came together..
it has been like 5 months since the separation and i miss him many times, i really want to meet up.
(ooookay i met jiahuey once before this time, that was because...
i made friend with a Japanese guy who sat beside me on the plane, we didn't talk throughout the whole journey until towards the end, and i found out he was backpacking alone, so we made plans to meet on one of the days and then i called up Jiahuey, so yeah. haha)
Sooooo, Marcus drove and we went to River Safari! Singapore's new attraction, next to the zoo. seriously, Singapore is changing a lot very quickly. wassup ah?
The main character of this park is, PANDA from china, jiajia and kaikai. When i first heard the names from Valerie i was like, huh huh what?? outdated from Singapore alr xD
And then we went to Gardens By the Bay, my second time but first time to see the night view! very niceeee
wanna eat it now :/
After that, Marcus drove me and dani to Sentosa again coz we're staying over at a hotel Ning booked for us!
Somehow her mum could use duno what member points to redeem a room for free. and i can tell this room is damn expensive coz it looks so luxurious. especially the toilet it was totally a wow.
(P.S. Marcus car top can open! just a small part but still a good opportunity to try, u know what, i have been wanting to do, put my head out and shout, whooooohooooooo wheeehehehe so fun!! kekekeke)
i heard that when you are speaking in another language, your character changes too. i find it quite true, somehow, it's related to the words you use. I feel l'm most rude when i speak Chinese singlish haha.
and Japanese, i'm still picking up from my friends here, so i think the people around me will mould me to what i will become.
going off topic, haha anyway, i don't usually miss these people but i do when we come to contact.
so when i left the hotel, i felt a sense of loneliness. even though dani was just next to me.
probably also because it was my last day in Singapore, and i was feeling reluctant to leave.
I was feeling REALLY tired and my back was still aching for some reason, maybe i'm really getting old ),:
in the middle of the "tour" i got a message from my sis that dad got an heart attack (which never happen before) and got admitted to hospital in emergency.
Suddenly my mood went from 6 to 0. so we went back home really early, and instead of packing my luggage, i was just.. ぼーとする i didn't feel like packing so i was like folding the clothes or something, even though i was short of time lol. until my sisters came back from the hospital, i started rushing coz then we actually made plans to have dinner at my aunt's place but situation changed.
we went anyway, and visit my dad before going to the airport. ホンマに災厄！to have this kind of thing happened on my last day. (don't worry he's fine now, just have to watch his diet from now on)
it was nice to see my cousins again, i had a 2 hours talk with the Ze brothers after midnight that day.
i just love being with them, especially yangyang, just coz i can do anything with him, and i could make him do anything, even if he says no. lol #blessedwithclosecousins
really wanna stay longer if i could. even though i said those things.
まあまあまあ、if you think about it, i'm only left with a year and a half in Japan before going back to Singapore for good so.. just enjoy the present!
whatever happens, happened, so look forward, live in the present! がんばろう！
