hello hello moshimosh, i just dyed my hair black for school.
There's this one week course we all have to attend to get qualification as a tour conductor.
We will be tested on laws related to tourism, geography and transport calculation, which are not easy but not that difficult. i better pass this, if not it will really hurt my pride, as a foreign student, and as a scholar.
Actually, i will talk about the services of Japan today.
As we all know, Japan has one of the best services in the world.
and there's isn't even service charge! unlike Singapore.
It's just part of their culture. If you can't provide good service, u don't get hired. (in service line)
It's pretty strict everywhere.
They uses honorific (very formal) languages to customer, no matter where, even fast food restaurants and convenient stores.
Japan also have the best public toilet in the world (i think) haha. It's cleaner than my own toilet, some as good as hotel washroom, and it's free of charge. ほんまに最高(笑)
There was once i shopped at H&M in Japan, bought a few clothes, a cap and a ring. but when i came home, and took out my stuff, the ring is not in the bag! I was almost sure the staff put it in, well, they couldn't have missed it, right?
I was really depressed because i was hesitating to buy the ring or not since i'm about to overspend my money but i really liked it so i decided to buy. How could such thing happen! Lost even before i use it??
It doesn't make sense and i seriously have no idea what happened to it.
So the next day, i went back to the shop with the receipt and explained myself, hoping they would give me a new one, and guess what?
they did!
I was so happy, さすが日本だ!と思った。omg really, only Japan would do that.
And just recently, i bought a bikini online and requested it to be send this thursday coz I'm going to the beach next wednesday. After i made the payment on Wednesday, then i realised the delivery date is 8 August!! too late!! i quickly send in email and explain that i need it by next Wednesday, if not, at least before i fly back home. Actually i don't even know if they will entertain me or not. but to my relief, the seller send it the very next day! I feel so grateful!
Their service is indeed good and so up to expectation, or more for us foreigners.
I wonder how they think of other countries with very poor services, it really cannot be compared to them.
I feel the great difference the first time i went back to Singapore.
And i wonder if it become hard to serve Japanese customer since they would expect the same kind of treatment they receive in their own country.
