In an article, it says, " leave their jobs after their first child. The World Economic Forum consistently ranks Japan as one of the world's worst nations for."
I agree because i see most married women with children living as a housewife. It isn't the same with Singapore Mothers. Many of us have both parents working and when you enter the society, you will have female colleagues with kids and still working, there will also be pregnant lady, still working hard before and after their delivery.
I thought to myself, why is Japan different? Is it better? Which is better? In my opinion, becoming a housewife is not a bad choice. You have more time to commit to and take care of your family, and more personal time. Why not?
Well, personal preference.
Although i don't have a partner now and my future is still unclear, it's a BIG question mark when i will be in a relationship and if i will ever get married.
But if i ever do.. i want to be a part-time housewife and get part-time job if i can afford to. Because working full-time is too tiring but, being a housewife is too boring. Haha mendokusai is me :p
